Visiting Gonzaga Prep broke a 40-all tie in the fourth quarter to defeat Lewis and Clark 57-45 Friday night in Greater Spokane League boys basketball.

Gonzaga Prep (9-1, 4-1 GSL) made 6 of 8 shots in the final period to pull away from the Tigers (4-6, 2-3). Bullpups quickly jumped out to a 16-9 first-quarter lead but the Tigers raced back in the 2nd quarter The Tigers made a 16-9 run of their own and the teams were still tied after three periods.

In the fourth quarter the Bullpups out shot the Tigers by making 75% of their attempts, while LC struggled to only make 2 out of 12 shots

Parker Kelly hit four 3-pointers and finished the game with 16 points. Ryan Nicholas nearly matched his season scoring average (21.6) with a game-high 20 points.
