It will be an all-Greater Spokane League regional final when Mead (19-5) squares off against Gonzaga Prep (22-2) for the fourth time. Tipoff is at 5 p.m.
Gonzaga Prep got out to a strong start, getting a pair of first-quarter 3-pointers from guard Parker Kelly to take a 16-7 lead after eight minutes. Kelly hit a turnaround jumper in the lane and then scored a quick transition layin as the Pups pulled ahead 20-14 with just over five minutes left in the quarter.
Kelly finished with a game-high 19 points, and 6-foot-7 post Ryan Nicholas chipped in 15 points and 15 rebounds for Prep.
