G-Prep Advances to Play Again

Junior Lindsey Stockton scored 22 points to lead Gonzaga Prep (19-4) over Mead (14-9) 55-49 in the final game of the District 8 4A tournament Saturday at University. G-Prep's win allows them to advance to play again at home on Tuesday against Moses Lake for a chance to get to the State tournament.

The Bullpups led after every quarter but they made a strong 15-9 run in the third quarter to put the game out of reach, eliminating the Panthers. Tia Presley added 13 points and Taylor Largent 10 points for the Bullpups.
