The Lewis and Clark boys basketball team (4-6) gave Greater Spokane League-leading Gonzaga Prep its first loss when LC drove the length of the floor with 5 seconds and made a 15-foot jumper at the buzzer for a 49-48 win at G-Prep. Prep led most of the game and still had a chance to win late into the game, but G-Prep (9-1) missed a front end of a 1-and-1 opportunity before LC’s final shot.

LC scored on six of 12 possessions in the fourth quarter as the Tigers rallied from a 40-36 deficit.

The upset was set up with 9 seconds remaining when LC's Taylor Eglet made a 3-pointer.

Sean Fisher and Ryan Nicholas led the Bullpups with 15 and 12, respectively.
