Game Video Highlights
The
home team Bullpups (20-2) got some timely scoring and amazing floor play by
point guard David Stockton and opportune baskets by Nick
Hanson and Ryan Nicholas, then held on for a 57-55 victory
for the title. Prep will play Tuesday in the first round of regional playoffs
against the No. 4 team from the Columbia Basin Big Nine.
The Bullpups had taken a
17-12 lead
in the second quarter, but found themselves trailing 25-22 before Sean
Fischer hit a 3-pointer with 25 seconds left and Ryan Nicholas
tipped in a miss with 6 seconds remaining
until intermission.
Stockton ended the
night with 18 points and Parker Kelly scored 12. Travis Long
also reached double figures, but his stout defense shut down LC's Craig Ehlo in
the fourth quarter who finished with 4 3-pointers and 16 points.
