Host team Gonzaga Prep couldn't keep up with the hot shooting Highlanders (4-1). Shadle took a early lead and never looked back. The Highlanders outscored the the Bullpups (2-2) in every quarter.

Shadle outscored G-Prep 28-15 in the middle two quarters to extend a modest five-point first-period lead to 18 points after three quarters. Tia Presley of G-Prep led all scorers with 18 points
