The Lady Pups upended Shadle Park in Greater Spokane League girls basketball action Tuesday night after trailing late in the game. G-Prep's Mariah Knopp drained a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left in the game to give the Pups a 53-52 upset win at Shadle (11-4).

It was Knopp’s second 3-pointer for the Bullpups (8-7), who rallied from a five-point halftime deficit to win. The Bullpups trailed 26-21 at halftime and the Highlanders had a 5 point lead going into the 4th quarter. G-Prep out hustled and outscored them 18-13, including Knopp’s game winning shot.

GSL scoring leader sophomore Tia Presley, led all players with 23 points. Freshman Lindsay Stockton contributed 16, including two 3-pointers. The Bullpups scored four 3-pointers, but the most important 3-pointer was by Knopp's at the buzzer.
