For the second consecutive week Gonzaga trailed early in the first quarter, but the Bullpups were able to rally to overcome an early deficit to regain the lead. The Bullpups scored twice in the fourth quarter for the 27 – 17 win over Bellermine Prep. Quarterback Bryan Karwacki connected with Kelly Henthorn late in the fourth quarter for a 34-yard touchdown pass. Travis Long intercepted a Bellermine pass with less than two minutes remaining in the game and then scored from the three yard line for the victory.
