At  halftime the score was all knotted up at 7-7, but in the 3rd quarter the Bullpups (4-2, 3-2) used two outstanding offensive drives to march down the field and score 14 points. The Pups later went on to score another touchdown in the 4th quarter to defeat the Highlanders (1-5, 1-4) at Albi Stadium.

Brian Lee caught a 61-yard touchdown pass from Bryan Karwacki, Joel Curry ran from 66-yard for a TD and Jeremy Condon added a 1-yard TD run during a 7-minute, 41-second offensive drive. The Bullpups used eight different running backs to rush for 277 yards.
