Prep Rolls Past NC 55-20

It was throw back night at G-Prep which featured Gonzaga's Freshmen football coach Ron Long. Mr. Ron Long announced his football retirement after being at the helm for 36 seasons. At half time a special ceremony recapped Mr. Long's football career. 

Travis Long scored three second-quarter touchdowns as Gonzaga Prep broke a first-quarter tie and and then went on to a 55-20 football victory over North Central. Long carried the ball four times for 87 yards and two TDs, including a 57-yard dash, and caught two passes for 37 yards and a score to put the Bullpups (5-1, 4-1 GSL) ahead 27-7 after the first-quarter deadlock.

Nine G-Prep players carried the football and amassed 473 rushing yards against the visiting Indians (0-6, 0-6). Leading the way was John Lampert with 115 yards on eight attempts. AJ Hovan had a 65-yard scoring run. Jack Wilson, who had two interceptions, returned one 43-yards for a score.
