Gonzaga Prep 42, North Central 0

The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (5-1, 4-1) were led to a 42-0 victory over North Central by the  power blocking from Gonzaga's offensive line. The O-Line created opportunities for Bishop Sankey to rush for 323 yards on 12 carries, the 10th-highest single-game total in league history.

Sankey had nearly 200 yards rushing in the first quarter. It began with a 99-yard burst on the first play following an interception by Jack Wilson in the end zone which was ruled down at the one yard line. That was followed a play later by Matt Chastek’s 45-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Sankey also scored touchdowns of 2, 57 and 76 yards. Other scoring highlights: Charile Hopkins blocked a punt and returned it back for a 2 yard TD, and Shane Schnidlkofer threw a strike to Tyler Heaton for a 61 yard reception that setup another Sankey score. After the victory Gonzaga is still tied for 2nd place in the GSL.
