The multi-talented Jack Wilson set the tone for the game against John Rogers. On the opening kick off he made an open field tackle, then he intercepts a pass on the very first play and then two plays later he dashes for 17 yards into the end zone for a touchdown. Wilson went on later to intercept another pass. The Bullpups scored easily and the defense stopped the Pirates of Hillyard from crossing the goal line. The final score was Gonzaga Prep 45, John Rogers 0.

The Pups were without their star running back, Bishop Sankey, but his replacement Bobby Condon rushed for over 200 yards on 20 carries. Condon scored from 28 and 18 yards.

After getting bruised up last week against Lake City Shane Schmidlkofer came back this week to rush for 69 yards and scored on a 15 yard run. Schmidlkofer also connected with Nick Lenoue for 9 yard TD pass.
